We truly love animals

THIS IS WHY OUR PASSION IS TO CARE FOR THEM!

We are always striving to provide the best experience for our furry friends and their taller companions. Trust in us to be your authority for all your pet health questions and needs. We’re here to serve you and your cuter fluffier halves!

Meet our team!

Our philosophy is to develop a strong relationship between our amazing, dedicated pet care team and pet owners to ensure the healthiest and happiest life for all our beloved pets.

Dr. Timothy Julian

VETERINARIAN

Dr. Julian is the owner and Head Veterinarian at Spadina Animal Hospital since January 2015.

He graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2011 and has been helping out cats and dogs ever since. Dr. Julian is an advocate of integrative medicine and working alongside pet parents to provide the best possible health care to our canine and feline friends.

When Dr. Tim is not helping pets, he's enjoying long walks with his loving wife Sophie, their adorable daughters, and their gentle giant Great Dane Pennie; who are all animal lovers too!

Steve Galupe, RVT

REGISTERED VETERINARY TECHNICIAN

Hailing from beautiful British Columbia, Steve has come a long way to join our pet care team.  Steve has been an animal lover for his entire life. Before becoming a Registered Veterinary Technician, he was the owner of a bustling pet store for several years.

As the Head Veterinary Technician of our team, Steve has taken up the reigns of the treatment area and even established himself as the resident DJ.  You can often catch him and his Shih Tzu Charlie grooving together to some R&B or hip hop while preparing for the next procedure.

Vinh

RECEPTIONIST AND VETERINARY ASSISTANT

More than just a fantastic head of hair, Vinh is also a beaming personality that is regularly deemed a ray of sunshine by many of our clientele. As an aspiring veterinarian, Vinh is constantly striving to learn more ways to help out our pets.

Currently between pets, Vinh is regularly scoping out Frenchies and Corgis to play with and take home with him. If he’s not tending to the reception area, he may be by the sink wiping the drool off his face after being mauled with kisses by a bulldog.

Erica

RECEPTIONIST AND VETERINARY ASSISTANT

A compassionate animal lover, Erica has recently joined our animal care team with an evident enthusiasm.

Erica has been working in veterinary clinics for several years and likes to keep herself up to date with animal nutrition and veterinary prescription diets.

Outside of the clinic, Erica shares a home with her two cats Archie and Freddie Mercury.

Shane

RECEPTIONIST AND VETERINARY ASSISTANT

After spending a year in the country of kangaroos and koalas, Shane came back to Canada to take care of dogs and cats with our animal care team.

With almost ten years experience in small animal clinics, Shane is a valuable staff member, knowledgeable and always happy to help and inform pet parents.

When Shane is not at work, he enjoys spending time at the gym and planning his next trip around the world!

Leeanne

RECEPTIONIST AND VETERINARY ASSISTANT

A fresh face on our team, Leeanne is a Veterinary Technician in training at Seneca College.  A cool cucumber, Leeanne is a natural around animals and her calm demeanor hypnotizes and relaxes all our visiting cats and dogs.

Her cats Finn and Chip allow her to share a home with them, in exchange for being regularly fed and cuddled.

Panda

THE CLINIC CAT

Shy and reserved at first, Panda can often be found strutting around the clinic and showing off her curves to all the feline and canine guests that arrive.  Since she arrived from a rescue shelter, she made herself home at the clinic instantly and found her way to her coworkers' hearts.

Come say Hi to Panda, she is always very happy to welcome cats and dogs into her home.

Diane

RECEPTIONIST AND VETERINARY ASSISTANT

The new smile in town, Diane brings her bubbly personality with her everywhere she goes. Her sense of humour keeps everyone in good spirits at all times. Diane is crossing her fingers that her studies in Animal Biology payoff with a ticket to Veterinary School.  She is always curious to know new things and is impossible to gross out; though we will continue to try.

At home, Button the Beagle is her floor cleaner in chief, making certain no morsel is left behind.
